About Dumbria
PoW Dumbria is a crude advertising grotesque with distinctive concave terminals. Oscillating between homogeneous and heterogeneous tendencies, between craft and mechanism, it embodies a compelling tension. Sharp, idiosyncratic, and unapologetically eccentric, PoW Dumbria brims with character.
It is a historically plausible proposition, based on a wood type produced by Sach & Co., Mannheim, in the late 19th century, yet one informed by a contemporary sensibility.
